All classes are held at Mid-East Dance by Yasmine which is located at: 540 Griffith Road - Charlotte, NC 28217
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS Level 1 ATS Dance Fundamentals- Learn the basics steps and concepts of American Tribal Style. Each class will consist of learning at least one fast and one slow move and the introduction of formations and dancing as a group. Level 2 ATS Dance Fundamentals Plus intro to Combos- This class will focus on individual technique as well as learning more advanced moves and improv combos. Level 3 Advanced ATS- Available to students by invitation only, Level 3, along with teaching more advanced moves will prepare dancers for performing in Potbelly Dance troupe. ATS Jam Class- Available to students currently enrolled in a session which have completed at least one session of Level 1 ATS Dance Fundamentals. Exceptions are made for experienced ATS dancers visiting the Charlotte area. The class consists of putting what we've learned so far to work! Special focus will be placed on formations and working together to create smooth transitions.
